Various activities, other then related with the duty on board the ships.
During the summer 2009 I was conducting various diving courses (theory, swimming pool sessions and open sea diving). The open sea sessions were done along the Romanian & Bulgarian Black Sea coast, from beach or boat to reef or wrecks.
The overall sea conditions – from acceptable to very difficult, from calm sea and sunny days to cold waters or very limited visibility (practically less then half meter) with sometimes waves and currents. But the students shows a great skills and manage to deal excellent with the "lady" Black Sea.
Water temperature: from 12degC (in May) to 25degC (in August). Visibility: from +5m to zero meters!!!
